Biography: 

Dr. Bao-Hua Song’s research focuses on Ecological, Phytochemical, and Agricultural Genomics. Her lab employs a multidisciplinary approach, integrating omics, systems biology, genetics, and evolution, to address fundamental and applied questions in agriculture, human health, and climate adaptation. Dr. Song’s research has been supported by diverse funding agencies, including NSF, NIH, NCBC, etc. Her work has been published in Science, Nature Communications, Current Opinion in Plant Biology, Genetics, Molecular Ecology, and Evolutionary Applications. Dr. Song contributes to the scientific community through service on grant review panels and as an associate editor for several journals. She has also served as a member of the Interdisciplinary Plant Science Consortium and the Soybean Genomics Strategic Plan Team.
