Chris is currently responsible for driving the embedding of AI and machine learning into IQVIA’s analytics and offerings. Working across all of the business silos, Chris is evaluating emerging technologies and employing them to enable business transformation across the hundreds of products and services and expand market footprint. Chris leads a virtual team of data scientists, ML engineers, and business leaders globally across IQVIA and is responsible for rolling up product strategy, roadmaps and CapEx across product suites.
Prior to joining IQVIA, Chris founded and runs a consulting business, where he has been providing enterprise architecture, implementation and business analyst services for over a decade. In addition, Chris ran the DC-area Java Center for Sun Microsystems and has held senior management positions at startups, managed the SME team at Software AG Government Solutions and serves on the board of a local Raleigh-based startup.
Chris is a coauthor of “Core Security Patterns”, Prentice Hall 2005, which was rated 5 stars on Amazon for the first three years of publication and was used as a text book at three major universities. He has a pending patent for synthetic data generation and is currently investigating the potential impact of quantum computing on existing encryption algorithms and alternatives in a post quantum world. Chris is active in his community and has coached football and soccer and held a board position on the Ashburn Youth Football League.
Chris graduated with a B.S. in Physics from Dickinson College. He is currently pursuing certifications in various areas of AI and Machine Learning with a focus on generative adversarial networks.
