Biography: Dr. Chau H. Le is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Technology and Construction Management at UNC Charlotte. He holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering with a focus on Construction Management from Texas A&M University. Dr. Le’s research centers on data-driven construction contracting and administration, construction safety and workforce development, and resilience in critical infrastructure. He has received multiple prestigious awards, including the 2024 Best Paper Award from the ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, the 2024 William A. Golomski Award from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, the Best Construction Management Poster Award from the Transportation Research Board (TRB), the ICCEPM 2022 Best Paper Award, and multiple ASCE Editor’s Choice distinctions. His work is published in top-tier journals and presented at leading conferences. Dr. Le also brings extensive industry experience, having held leadership roles in large-scale construction projects. He actively contributes to the academic and professional community as the Research Coordinator for the TRB Standing Committee on Contract Law, a reviewer and panelist for the National Science Foundation, and a reviewer and committee member for several leading journals and professional organizations.
